I seem to be the victim of very lazy swedish transmission gremlins.
Three days ago, when I attempted to back out of my driveway, in the morning, my '90 S70 shuddered violently for a few feet and then died. When I re-started the car and tried to pull forward, the car died immediately. After rolling the car in neutral
, it had no problem moving in either direction. This same thing has occurred only one other time, almost exactly one year ago.The mechanic I took it to last year and the Volvo shop I took it to today both have been unable to find anything wrong.
I 'm grateful that this happens so infrequently
