I got my Volvo from a dealer with 87 K miles...now it is making a noise when I accelerate into a turn, and the dealer said it is my driveshaft, and should be replaced soon...$ 1,000. Other Volvo owners I have spoken to say this is very strange...it is a /98 XC-V70. I went for a second opinion, but that shop "could not tell what the noise was", which I thought was weak.
