lower control arm movement

Post by Guest »

After hearing some rattling coming from the front wheels I jacked-up my '95 850 wagon and noticed the wheel would shift (inward-outward) when I pressed on it. The movement seems to come from the ball joint on the control-arm where it fits into the bushing. Both wheels have movement and the drivers-side is starting to knock loudly on slow, sharp turns.

Any tips/tricks? What's the scale of difficulty (1-10). Anything else I should check?
