S70 wiring harnesses

Post by Wade »

I have a 1999 'S70 Turbo and have just been told the computer has been "fried" due to a fautly wiring harness and this is a chronic problem with the S70.

I was having the rear seal replaced (droping the engine and trans) and wonder if the problem may be related to a failure to disconnect the harness first.

Does anyone have any input on this?

Thanks
Wade

I have never heard of this being chronic on the 70 series.
