Removing the Transmission Side Cover
See removing transmission side cover, refer to Case Cover A/T, Service and Repair.
Remove:
the clip for the cable harness from the pressure sensor
the connector
the screws.
Note: The upper screw is M10. The two shiny screws are self tapping.
Disconnect the pressure sensor.
Check that all (6 x) O-rings remain in the pressure sensor.
Installing the pressure sensor
Apply a little automatic transmission fluid on the sensor O-rings.
Install:
the pressure sensor - the screws loosely (finger tight).
Note:
The upper screw is a M10 screw head. The three long screws are M8. The
two shiny short screws are self tapping and should go into the same
threads as before.
Tighten the screws lightly crosswise. The tighten to the black screws to 12 Nm .
Then tighten the two self tapping screws to 8 Nm .
Install:
the connector
the clip for the cable harness for the pressure sensor.
