  Intake Air Temperature Sensor, Replacing  
 

Removing the intake air temperature (IAT) sensor

Remove

  

  • The intake manifold between the front cover plate and the air cleaner (ACL) . Applies only to B6xx4T.

  

  • the connector from the sensor
  • the sensor from the intake manifold.

Note: Do this only by hand.

Installing the charge air temperature sensor
Install

  • a new sensor
  • the connector
  • the intake manifold between the front cover plate and the air cleaner (ACL) housing. Applies only to B6xx4T.
