I looked into a used angle gear at car-part.com
It is also know as transfer case in the salvage yards. The salvage yard indicated the v6 3.2 angle gear is the same as the v-8. Does any know if that is correct?

I own 3 xc 90 v-8's. Son's (2006) 235,000, Daughter (2006) 140,000 , Spouse (2008) 157,000. We really like them . With all the information out there it looks like I'm going to be very busy when the weather clears up in Chicago.
