The part that is jb welded is the bushing that the flapper shaft sits in. It is the part that is moving up and down.

I will take some pics. I jb welded it. The door fits in a bushing and the bushing moves up and down allowing it to leave a gap. I got the bushing to stop moving so now just the door moves. No more up and down. Just open and close.

Guys I am rebuilding the head on my 850r and have the turbo off and decided to do it while off. The wastegate flapper appears to be able to move up and down a lot. If not I. The right position it allows a gap at the top or bottom of the port. Is this normal.

Long story short. I installed oe breather and oe hoses to breather, new 5/8 hose and am installing a 5/8 inline catch can. Ordered all of the stuff to rebuild and reinstall the turbo. Smoke is almost gone but the oil cap is still pushing oil out even with a new oe cap seal. No smoke from the ...

The turbo is not the original one off of the 850’s it is the bigger 16g, I am assuming there is a step kit for that as well?

Thanks. I figured it out after I responded, lol. It went from pcv to turbo and confused me. I understand again. You all need to be a bit slow with me.

I am pretty sure the coolant hoses you are talking about are on the newer s60/v70 not on my 850r. I will yank it all apart again next week and see what I can do about the ports.
