Re: DIY: 2005 XC90 2.5T Blower Motor Lubrication Topic is solved

Well, my 5th screw tab is broken because I'm impatient. Anyway, I replaced the resistor and the blower works better than it ever has. However, I pulled the resistor from an '06 v90, so it's actually older. I followed your lube procedure, so hopefully it will last!

DIY: 2005 XC90 2.5T Blower Motor Lubrication - My 2005 XC90 2.5T with 110K miles has squeaky Blower Motor when speed is set at “2 notches or so”. I know the motor needs lubrication. You need to fix this before the friction is too great, causing the resistor to go bad. The whole Blower Motor is $200...

Re: Climate control xc90

I'll try taking apart and seeing what I see. I'm trying to avoid the dealership b/c I can't stand them since they charged me $300 for an oilchange and a 150 point inspection, in which they told me I needed to change the cabin air filter.....which I changed literally the day before.

Re: Climate control xc90

it's not an unplugged and gone wonky issue, I have had the vehicle for 2 years, and everything aside from and alignment has been done by me, and I haven't messed with anything in a long time. when this happens, the fan doesn't work at all, nothing even attempts to come out, both sides. Dead as a doo...

Climate control xc90

So I have searched and not found anyone with my exact problem. '07 XC90 Sometimes when I start the car, the A/C system does not work at all. The lights work, but it doesn't blow no matter what I do, twist fan knob (which is glitchy when it does work), put in auto, change the directional control, try...

Re: REAR alignments

Yes, the damaged part is actually the "stay" per volvo, and that is what I have on order currently. So, the to is adjustable on this, but not the camber without the aftermarket eccentric bolt? So you would in fact recommend and alignment after replacing these, correct?

REAR alignments

2007 xc90 AWD. Chewed through a set of tires, worn on the inside edge, took it to a shop and found the rear trailing arms are damaged and the sway bar end links are worn. If I replace them, do I need an alignment? Is there even any adjustment on the rear of this vehicle?
