Low Beam Bulb Failure 2013 Volvo C30

Hello MVS! Today I got in my car and I got the "Low Beam Bulb Failure" message. Ok, no big deal but BOTH of my low beams are out. High Beams and all other lights (4 way flashers, brake lights, etc.) work. The car is parked outside and 2 things happened yesterday: 1.) I filled my windshield...

Re: 2013 Volvo C30 lug Nut Covers

Yes the plastic parts are part of the nut. I had figured they came off. Well they did come off when I was trying to get the nuts off. I'm sure after years of impact gun use from shops it has made those things weak. I'm surprised more didn't break off when I was working on it. I got one tire installe...

Re: 2013 Volvo C30 lug Nut Covers

Try a pair of pliers on the lip or just use a socket that fits to remove one and then figure out how they go on. For some reason I don't remember pulling those off. * C30 Lug_.png * C30 Lug.png . Ok, after looking more at those pictures are the plastic parts actually part of the lug nut? I mean the...

Re: 2013 Volvo C30 lug Nut Covers

Thanks. I hope the tires fit without rubbing. These were a smoking deal. I tried for a long time and ended up just scraping my wheels more with various flat implements to pry off the lug nut covers. I may end up just trying to get those nuts off with a socket as suggested. OR I may end up taking the...

2013 Volvo C30 lug Nut Covers

Ok, I bought some used Sironas with Hakapelitas for my C30. I wanted to fit these myself instead of taking them to a shop. I have the tools but cannot seem to get the lug nut covers to come off! I have the salad Tong tool but can't seem to grab enough. Any suggestions on how to get these off? Sideno...

Thanks! I ended up draining a little out. I hope the engine is ok. It sounds and runs fine.

2013 C30 Oil Capacity Question (70K Oil change)

Changed my oil and 6 quarts went in fine but the dip stick was still showing low. I ended having to add a whole quart more to get the dipstick to go to full. Is this a concern? Should I attempt to drain some oil out? Like do it tonight before it gets cold again in Minnesota? It was so nice today and...

Thanks! Yeah, this car is great! Since we have a 2 year old I haven't been able to drive this car nearly as much. It is VERY fun to drive with the IPD upgrades.
