Elderly drivers, and some ages in between can be equally dangerous.

Studies have show younger and older drivers are somewhat equal, with those between more safe. But causes are different for younger vs older.

I have to disagree with the notion Volvo has lost their charm. You have to keep in mind what cars have become in 2019 and factor that in.

I also hate some of the trends in modern cars. Such as no key and the goofy infotainment screen to name the biggest offenses.

Unfortunately we can't roll ...

The point of my thread really is about locating the names (and now part number) for these parts. How does one locate a part number or a name of a given part?

I have bought Volvo parts from OEM dealers to ebay, FCP, etc. If you want a part that is available, but not listed at these other places, then send an email to FCP/ipd/etc ...

If this is correct for your model, various parts are listed. If you are having an electrical issue, the part could be in a different menu.

It seems there's some focus on performance, and I can appreciate that. But I'm curious about locating parts for my recently acquired V70 R, and they are parts that aren't "sexy".

I'm looking at having to replace the back bumper eventually, as it's a non-R V70 bumper.
It lacks the parking sensors ...

I really wonder how much this will really improve safety, and decease accidents, etc. It seems a slippery slope into more and more surveillance.
