So, after much debate and careful surgical procession. An oxy-acetylene torch was used to cut and remove the CVj. I'll post pictures of the removed CVj. It was rusted in there bad. I did use anti-seize with the replacement on the front and rear. Lined everything back up and installed new prop shaft....

How is this coming? I had done this same project on my '05 XC90 V8 a couple of years ago. Have you gotten the CV Axle out of the wheel hub yet?

Great car. However if your not mechanically inclined. Can be quite expensive for fixes on mechanical issues through a dealership. We've loved our XC90, i'd recommend the V8 if you can find.
