That possibility has crossed my mind although I have seen the inside of the transmission and that one bearing did bind up and ruin the housing. Every thing else looks fine. Now I just hope to get it fixed without buying a transmission from Volvo. My brother-in law has had 3 or 4 standard shift Volvo...
