Thank you. With crank markings, it looks like there is a mark on the engine side and two marks on the crank. Would that be around 12:00 o’clock, or a little before or after? Thank you for the pic.

I am trying to set timing marks on 2000 v70 Volvo. I am having a hard time with crank marks. Notice a few videos on 2001 and on or models around 1998. Are the 2000 to 2001 models the same. mine has two dots on the crank. Not sure if they should be at 1200 noon, or if there is a mark on engine block....

Update on oil leak. Saturday I investigated the oil leak. On the engine block, above the drive axle mounting location on the passenger side, is a “hex” style bolt.
