I am considering a 1991 740 w/auto trans and test drove the car this afternoon. The car shifts very hard, and sometimes will not shift into higher gears unless you coax the accelerator up and down. The speedo works intermittently, but not sure if this is related to the shifting. Any ideas? Thanks......
