I don't think it has anything to do with the switch as I've changed it and the boot release works on the fob the light went out yesterday so I tried the roof and only the rear lifted up(hand cranking again) I think I'll see an auto spark and see if its a relay of some kind ...

I noticed yesterday that the boot open light was on which sometimes happens if I touch the remote (shrek fingers),
But the boot wasn't open I faffed about with remote door switch and the light went out, I also noticed the o/s door window wouldn't work on ...
