Definitely not off-topic, considering those brake lines may get accidentally stressed when attempting to change the springs, you never know when we inadvertently make a mistake , and one must be very careful and inspect them before we reassemble right?

Thanks for the reply, this particular thread mentions that situation I am in: the upper seat is built into the frame of the car on my 1997 850 awd low pressure turbo b 5254 t station wagon. Regular shocks it seems would simply have nothing to sit against. However, I do see a part number for that sho...

The original question of how regular shocks do not fit the larger seat for Nivomats was never answered here. In fact no one that has done this has specifically addressed the issue how you’re going to get much smaller diameter shocks' top to fit in the seat that is larger at the top, unless someone m...
