I had this exact surging on my 2001 with 205K that was there when i bought it at 189K. i recently did the pcv system changover due to proactive ocd during that i did the elec throttle cleaning with seafoam, etb cleaner and brass brush and a new gasket. there was the dark crud, but i thought it wasnt...

i have a 2001 with 205k and it does this, ive tried to track it down, cleaned maf, throttle body, plugs, injectors, fuel filter, new ignition coils, i do not believe its tranny related as it still revs and slows if i take it put it in N and roll to a stop! i read if you do this and your brakes feel ...

Funny, i have the same symptom as calvin. a funny metal pop sound at limit of turn and more consistent when backing. but a number of pops for sure. it depends on the length of your wrench. it is possible to over tourque, but even tourquing is more critical. many tire warehouse will tourque them for free. i did the drive shaft replacements, and found they are easily figured out. if your shake occurs at start up or upon acceleration, they are loo...

ive looked at replacing the control arm, should have done it when i pulled the drive shaft!!. in vadis it lists that you have to tie the two control arms together with a winch strap when its all loose, loosen the lower motor mount bolts and raise the engine 33 mm to access the arm mounting screws. i...

hello, i was looking at the same work, replacing bushings. the consensus seems to be replacing the whole control arm with front and rear bushings installed is a better alternative, although i am not sure you can get quality parts for reasonable cost
