The Gabriel Ultra Shock (rear) 69417 fit perfect on my 1996 960 wagon. Ride is smooth and the clunking sound is gone!

No, they do not all have the Nivomats. That was an option. Mine were code Y. I also have some clunking noise that I hope shocks take care of. Mechanic hopefully putting them on tomorrow!

Thanks...I have found a Gabriel shock that is supposed to fit - #69417. My local Autozone store was able to get it even though when I tried to order it on their website it showed as not available. I will post back and let you know if they fit right.

Hi..I have tried every auto parts website that shows availability but am having no luck coming up with rear shocks for my 1996 960 wagon -not nivomat, has independent multi link suspension, code Y....Many parts websites show them including ebay, but when you try to order they come up as discontinued...
