Re: Vibration under load - C30 2009 T5
The GKN axle solved the problem completely! Well worth the $300. Transformed the car.

Re: Vibration under load - C30 2009 T5
Neil- thanks for the reply.
I went back over the suspension and brakes. Looked thru my records and figured out the problem started after I replaced RH axle ( torn boot). I am replacing the IPD axle with a new GKN axle. Fingers crossed.

Tensioner/idler only? 2009 c30
My 2009 C30 with 90,000 has original cam belt and tensioners. On the IPD tech site they say the belt is very durable. But it’s the idler and tensioner that are the problem. Would it be possible to simply leave belt in place and just replace those two components? No cam locks etc. On the FCP video, i...

Re: Wrong spark plugs?
This car was idling on 3 cylinders. The scan tool said 4,5 were misfiring. Replaced plugs and now only 4 is misfiring. Moved coil to 2, and now 2 is coming up ( P0302). I will check those plugs out for my C30 T5. I had used in the past on watercooled VW’s a WR7DTC- triple electrode. I was surprised ...

Re: Wrong spark plugs?
Checked with dealer, it takes the 26mm reach plug. It had been running for quite awhile with short plug!
Still have misfire, moving coils to isolate which one is suspect.
Thanks for your help!

Re: Wrong spark plugs???
I am not by the car currently. But I will check vin. The tag on the hood listed the engine as “B5244T”
But I did try the denso site. It picks a 26mm reach plug for a 2006,S60,T5, automatic- the denso 4704.
Thanks for your help Paul

Re: Wrong spark plugs???
Ok, IPD site lists a Bosch FR7MPP10 , which is 26mm reach.
Plugs I removed are FR7DP......19mm reach...
Which is right. Car ran for at least 15,000 miles on the short plugs....
Longer plug may hit piston .....
