I've decided to pay to have the head removed so we can further investigate what may have caused the head gasket failure.

My best educated guess is that my leaking exhaust/turbo down pipe may have finally burned out my head-gasket and finally caused the leak. I'll know by next week. If ...

... I could DIY it myself, as I've rebuilt Alfa motors before, which have got to have served as some PAIN TEST for this kinda project yes?
I'm an old Alfa guy! I have an extra 1600 on the garage floor in case I need to build one.
