I changed both of mine and it Immediately tightened up the rear-end. I would say it’s worth it and not that difficult of a job. I used the Volvo tool and a little heat. I learned later from others that more heat, essentially melt the rubber inside the arm, would’ve saved me a bunch of time.

I replaced mine a few months ago at the engine side of firewall. I referenced the new throttle cable assembly on what was holding it in place and with a screwdriver just broke the plastic tabs on the one coming out then it fed through fine.

I used a breaker bar, it was a bear of a job without using enough heat to melt the outer plastic shell on the bushing.
