Been there and done that....we have 3 of these cars and the turbo for the 1988 240 which was a transplant from a 1993 940 has a damaged controller for the wastegate and the bov due to rough handling when the junk yard pulled the motor. Looking for a rebuilt standard mitsu turbo for 940
Just looking for a regular Mitsubishi td04h-13c factory turbo for 740. Prefer rebuilt if possible.

Ebay sells the replacement cartridge for these turbos. Cost is about 188 dollars as i recall. Its the center section with shaft, bearings and vanes part. The 2 sides are just shells so to speak with no moving parts except the waste gate. Look up the mitsu number and cartridge you should find it and ...

You can have replacements 3d printed (i did)
Thingiverse may have the files you need. Or you will need to find a supernerd to help you create the design files.
Make sure to use high temp plastic and then paint them silver or whatever color you wish.
