seat problem in an xc90

My boss has a question about his 04 xc 90 that I'm trying to help with. The booster in the back seat is stuck open, any ideas on how to repair or what is wrong? Any diagrams that I can view

Re: any s60 buying guides around?

I'm in Mass, so I'd be interested in hearing what "very cheap" is. I'd be interested in either a 2.4t or t5 with leather and heated seats (which is pretty common anyway i guess). If you could email me at <my mvs username>@gmail.com I'd appreciate it.

Re: any s60 buying guides around?

I really appreciate the tips. Seems that this valve body problem went through to about '03. I'll try and stay away from these cars I guess. It seems like the problems kick in right around the mileage on this particular car so its out of the running for sure...

any s60 buying guides around?

Looking for a frequent problem list and/or checklist or guide on these cars. Specifically interested in an 01 s60 t5 automatic with 130kmi, if anyone wants to cast an opinion that'd be great too...

95-97 850 turbo or 98 s70 t5 wtb

I'm looking for a 95-97 turbo (97 t-5, not GLT) or a 98 S70 T5. I like being driven especially crazy by Volvos (and then asking tons of questions here), so something that needs a little work is ok. Mileage isn

Thanks, after I got your first post I was proactive and swapped the cam sensor with a spare I had (helps to have an extra 850 engine and various other parts hanging around the house). It did the exact same thing, so I went and got a new coil. Bingo Bango - it started and runs great. The other two co...

Thanks, codes are p0315 and p0232. I suspect one of these however is because I forgot to plug in the maf sensor after I cleaned the distributor cap...

Thanks in advance!

850 starting problem

I have a 1995 850 Turbo with around 225k on it. Yesterday morning it started briefly then sputtered out. After that, it would not start. Fuel is getting to the cylinders, but there does not seem to be spark - I used a plug wire tester. Checked and cleaned the distributor cap - no moisture - its also...

Ok, so the 99 S80 T6 has its share of issues. Today I thought I had almost everything fixed. There was NO turbo power last week. So, we cleaned the boost control solenoid, put it back in and there was considerably more power, then it crapped out again. So I bought a new one today, and there sure is ...
