I think it's the torque mount. Though I've never seen a new torque mount, this one looks worn.
Also had my son accelerate from stop while I watched from the passenger side. The engine appears to shift a bit to the rear upon acceleration.
Can anyone confirm that I need a new torque mount? See pics.

Clunking Noise on Acceleration
Just got my '14 S60 back from the shop (cam seals, sprockets, timing belt replaced) and I'm now noticing a clunking from the passenger front upon acceleration. This only happens when I'm accelerating out of the complete stop and it sounds like something is shifting. I'll see if I can capture the sou...

Re: 2014 S60 T5 Oil Leak
Closing out this thread. Cleaned up the area and it took about 3 weeks to notice oil on the driveway again. Turns out the cam seals and sprockets needed replacing. Had the shop also replace the drive belt tensioner as oil had leaked onto it. Additionally had a leak in oil filter housing. Here's to h...

2014 S60 Belt Tensioner Replacement
Recently purchased a 2014 S60 T5 (155K miles) and I'd like to replace the drive belt tensioner and serpentine/accessory belts. I've read that once the tensioner starts to fail, the drive belt can slip off and enter the path of the timing belt; catastrophic engine failure ensues. I'd like to avoid th...

2014 S60 T5 Oil Leak
Recently purchased a 2014 S60 T5 (155K miles) and discovered a minor oil leak. By minor, I see a little drops on the ground after a few days. Would anyone be able to provide some guidance as to what might be the issue? Here's what I've done to date: 1. Removed engine and timing belt cover. Discovere...

Re: AC Making noises
Hi - Just bought a 2014 S60 T5 and am experiencing the same noise.
1) A/C off + accelerate = no noise
2) A/C on + accelerate = high pitch noise and no jump in RPMs.
Makes me think the compressor is the issue. Did you ever solve this problem?

Re: Bad Alternator?
Correct, that was the reading with the engine running.
Contacted FCPEuro since I could only find the voltage regulator model (8676498) on my alternator.
Based on my VIN, my vehicle requires the140A (36050262) alternator

Re: Bad Alternator?
Multimeter came back with a reading of 11.97V from the B+ terminal. Bad alternator indeed.

Bad Alternator?
Hi everyone - I have an issue with my '03 V70 NA (180K miles) that I'm hoping is just the alternator. While driving today, A/C shutoff, speedometer stopped working, and both ABS and battery lights illuminated on the dash. After 20 seconds, A/C came back, ABS light shutoff, speedometer started to wor...

Re: Outer CV Boot Replacement
To summarize: 1. If axle is either GKN or Volvo, and in decent condition: replace the boot 2. If axle is aftermarket or genuine in bad condition, replace the axle with a GKN/Volvo axle. I don't hear any clicking and there's no vibration at the moment. I'll get under the car in a few days to see what...
