my 94 850 steering seems to loosen, sway, drift or have excessive play at higher speeds (over 55 mph). actually lost control the other day. scary. anybody know about this? is there anything I can check? thanks clay

When I try to pull out the transmission at the flywheel from the rear of the engine the small bump-out on the bell housing for the starter gear hits the underside of the chassis by a good 1 and 1/2 to 2 inches.
