Apparently there were a lot of problems with that model year. I'm going to pass on it.

I do have a line on a 2001 v70. Non-turbo, 269,000 km. Not ideal, but a decent price. I have not looked at it yet. All I really know about it is the power steering leaks somewhat... I may go and look a it next week.....

I should mention that most of these I see have over 400,000km on them. I don't know what the B series engines are good for, either....

"Good" is a relative term. I'll be keeping my eyes open, but pickings are few, so it may take a while.....

ok. Late model 940, 740, 240 > I don't know if my wife wants or needs the turbo.....

I think I'm going to stay with the basic RWD vehicle. Like the 240. I think that includes the 740. Are there any others in the 98-2005 era?

I've never heard of the "glove test". What exactly is it telling you?

And I am not doing any of that!
What would be considered reasonable mileage on the v70 engines? What is there expected life, all things being equal?

WHen I get them I'll post. All I know at the moment is the price, and that it is certifed.
