My volvo seems to do this only when its very hot outside .105 last time today it was 110. .my volvo makes a thump under the car sounds like the tranny ..then shuts off ..then comes back on again..but instead of having everything working normal .i have no lites no power .windows etc.and it runs like ...

It was hot 108 degrees . iwas driving then bam ! It felt like i ran over something. Then everything turned off . then the car turned on . but i had no lights no dash lights..no power windows . but i could still drive ibut it didnt have the power it normally had. But i was able to get it back home ...

The car doesn't lock or windows work . Have to use the key to manually open and lock car ..so im goin to fully charge car battery and change the battery in remote and go from there.

Will a low battery cause everything to act up .? Will a low battery on my remote cause everything to act up .cus now I don't have cluster lites car will start .
