NEIL and BJ !! U guys are a breath of fresh air!!! As U both know, I have yet to take the amp off the wall to inspect more closely! but now that I know they are screw term's.....heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee hawwwwwwwwwww
I think there will be enough clues now to know where the wires were at one time ...

Thank's Neil....Can U explain these speaker "controllers"?? where would they be located? How many? I ask out of fear...As we already know...the person...let's call him hacker...lol... hacker as we know cut the speaker wires at the top of that amp and then hooked them to his own red/blk wires that ...

...Chusterfield radio said the amp would be in the trunk under the Antenna...It was RIGHT!!! I found the amp and now it all is clear!!!

That one wire (yellow/black or yellow /violet)) is only like that on underfloor amplifiers which I am familiar with. The reason for that is all the speaker connections go directly from the amplifier to the the speakers.
When an amplifier is added to the radios, it was done using a long NLA wiring ...

I'm a lot more familiar with the S/V70 systems,
and I've never even climbed into a Coupe or
Convertible, let alone cracked one open - But:
I get the feeling that they all shipped with
a single speaker harness from the amp only
and not the way that Volvo added amps to
the sedans and ...

Wiring diagram is your friend here. Even I managed to follow it! I built a speaker test box. The front speakers are individually wired. I think they are 8 ohm. That is on a V/S70 4 door car. C70 is a different beast unfortunately. They have the same dash small speakers but all the rest may be ...
