Jonesroad, the TCM-0192 is in fact the code produced by the shift indicator. I’ve found that if the plastic “slide” is broken or missing the magnet that is in there will cause the code and in return not allow for the manual shifting option. Haven’t heard anything from anyone, does anyone else agree that the ABS module would be the place to start. And is it possible for the gear selector module to put the car in limp with the antiskid light?

Hello, I’m about at the end of my rope with this car! The car when you start it will run ok for probably 30-45 seconds then backfires and at the same time the antiskid comes on and car acts like it’s in limp mode, barely idling.
