2006 Xc90 2.5t alternator charging output question
Good morning,
I recently checked my charging output of the alternator before installing a new battery. Battery was around 10 years old and it was time. My charge rate was between 13.72v and 13.94v with the DRL on. Is this acceptable or should it be in the 14v to 14.5v volt range? Any reply ...

Problem is the rotor cannot come off because the ebrake shoe has worn a ridge into the drum section and it will not break free. I'm thinking I need to back off the ebrake cable to take the ...

Re: DIY 2005 XC90 2.5T Rear Brake (Parking Brake) 31262874 Overhaul
Old post i realize, but i am having a problem removing my rotors after removing caliper and it's mounting bracket. Seems the ebrake shoes have worn a lip on the drum section of the rotor....anybody else have this problem? I've exposed the adjust that runs along the console. Haven't removed the clip ...

Re: 2006 Xc90 2.5T weirdness
Hi, Yes it is and the CEM has been my thought for a while but since almost everything has been functioning again I was rethinking....until earlier today when I lost the interior lights again. So back to considering the CEM again. I realize the water ingress can be a problem on these. Thank you for ...

Replaced exhaust vvt and a problem
P2 xc90 2.5T 2006
I replaced the exhaust vvt because of a lot of walking of the t-belt during operation as well as poor performance. I am having a very difficult time trying to mount the timing belt correctly, The exhaust cam is extremely easy to spin when trying to align the t-belt on to the ...

Vibration on acceleration
'09 s60 2.5t. While on a short vacation we experienced a vibration on acceleration. Almost felt like a tire going flat but we stopped and checked but tires were fine(only about 5k on these tires). Roadway was wet and a/c was on. While coasting really didn't feel any vibration but would vibrate again ...
