I quit trying to figure it out behind the computer and figured it out under the car! Only thing left to figure out is how to get the line that runs along side the engine (from the oil cooler to the rear of the engine) loose... once it's gone, I can get to the last 2 bolts that need to come out

Well... I've got everything unhooked from the top and front - now I'm down to the exhaust and transmission connections.

I'm hesitant with the transmission... should I try to pull the whole assembly or separate them inside of the engine compartment?

I'm trying to figure out if I can leave the axles ...

OK - purchased a used engine online... should arrive within the next couple days.

I'd really like to have a Shop Manual for the times when I get stuck... Should I buy VIDA or look at one of the other sources of manuals?

Mechanics skills are good... and I've got all of my dad's tools (he was a life-long mechanic). He discouraged me from doing car mechanic work - but I can do pretty much anything mechanically.
