....looks like the cruise control switch might be bad. How difficult is it to switch out the switch with a new one? Looks like a plug in switch to me. Any help on this would be appreciated!

billofdurham's link to erievolvo solved my problem and saved me $15 bucks! They had the item in stock and sold it to me for $25 bucks, shipping included! The Volvo dealer over here is pathetic....I don't like dealing with them and they usually charge twice what you can get it for on line! Thanks guys!

...I've searched over the internet for volvo parts but there doesn't seem to be anyone that can provide me with this particular piece on line. We don't have too many salvage yards in my area, and they probably wouldn't have this particular piece anyway. I may just have to bite the bullet on this one...

...excellent, Bill! I don't drive the volvo very hard at all, on many occasions I don't think the turbo ever kicks in! But I will implement you suggestions!

Thanks Darrell! I had heard that sometimes the seals on a turbo go bad and start to leak....and was just wondering if there is any thing special I can do to prevent that, or at least postpone it from happening. But with regular oil changes, which I do, I guess I'm doing all I can.
