Replaced 2 o-rings
#6 oil port o ring ID 26mm CS 3mm
#7 oil port o ring ID 19mm CS 3mm

Tip of 1 long bolt got shaved
Installed analog oil gauge and oil temp gauge.

I am trying to remember if they are standard o rings or if the have a special profile

You want the right parts here as this is critical engine function. Skip the additives and stop leaks, that won’t help here.

i bought from an online store 20W-40 oil. It's cheap, maybe that's why its bubbling, (that's the reason why I want to try the additive first). will let u know how it goes...

I also noticed with the oil gauge installed, when the engine is cold, oil pressure goes up to about 75ish... almost near the end of the gauge (80 is the max in the display)... but when the engine has reached normal operating temp it settles at 25-35 when idling... increases when rev ...

I believe I have hydraulic lifters but I need to fetch my torque bit drivers from my friends garage in order to look but will confirm soon.

Leaking injectors will cause gas to run down into the oil through the piston rings. This will also wash out the bores. Look up 'lawnmower syndrome. This would also cause the issue you are seeing and not starting. If you check the cylinder compressions you will likely find them low, if not in all ...

I read something about valve seals in this post... been working on my 850 that recently died (cranks but does not start)... long story short, fuel pressure regulator has broken diaphram, lots of fuel got sucked up by the vacuum into the engine oil... after replacing the oil, lots of white smoke ...

have the same issue... I just re-seat the fuses and the issue went away... still runs good for a 27 year old car
