I tried to crimp on some bullet connectors but I think the connection is still unstable

So I checked closer and you were right. A small portion of the wiring right before going into the female bullet connector is broken. I’m going to try and get some new bullet connectors and crimp them on as a temp fix. I believe the wires are 18 gauge. Hopefully I’ll only have to trim a short length ...

The sensor itself is new, the wiring itself on the harness side looks to be intact

Yesterday I changed the tstat and sensor, now it won’t go above 1/4 of the way to warm. The harness side connector came apart, so I cleaned the bullet connectors and pushed them onto the new sensor connector posts, and wrapped it in electrical tape. I've been using the Volvo dex3 one from fcp, and one drain and fill I did with the Walmart fluid that's supposed to replace dex3. I saw Robert recommended it in one of his vids.

Does anyone have a similar noise? Still hearing it, but it’s not getting any louder. It is present in first and second, until it’s drowned out by engine and road noise. Only really noticeable with radio/fans off

About 15k miles ago, it looks pretty healthy, a slightly darker red. I'm actually doing another drain and fill today after I change my driver side axle and the seal. The noise is faint, but audible when I listen for it

I haven't thought of the carrier bearing, I'll check it. If this noise turns out to be the trans though, is it normal or should I be preparing for some failure in the future?
