Re: Electrical Issue 2006 V70
Thank you. Got home a little bit ago...to dark in the driveway right now. Will check those things.....possible starter? Will the code reader point to immobilizer or ignition switch if they are the culprit? The only thing that I did tonight was put the key in with the battery jumpered by my truck.......

Re: Electrical Issue 2006 V70
Thank you jonesg. I ordered that, let's see if it helps. I appreciate the assistance! I have noticed a few you tube videos talking about some of these code readers not working on Volvos and Audis, I did not see a disclaimer for this.

Re: Electrical Issue 2006 V70
I just got home and started looking at the Volvo again. I try to start it it turned over for a couple seconds then stops. I did this repeatedly until it didn't even turn over. I have jumper cables on it and still will not start, nor turn over.. I did notice a buzzing sound under the hood and traced ...

Re: Electrical Issue 2006 V70
Well upon inspection I noticed there was a couple wires under the driver's seat which had copper exposed. I'm not sure how that happened. However I isolated the copper by wrapping the wires with electrical tape separating them. I then stuck the key in the ignition and everything came back to life wh...

Re: Electrical Issue 2006 V70
OK..thank you. In the 2006 V70 the Instrument Panel gets power from fuse 10 located under the steering wheel. I only have 12 fuses in the panel on the left side of the dashboard (Fuse Panel C). However, I went nuts and checked every single fuse on that car (A and B in the engine compartment, C – Lef...

Re: Electrical Issue 2006 V70

According to the wiring diagrams it caonations fuse #10 and provides power to the power seat, sunroof intsrument clus...

Re: Electrical Issue 2006 V70
I am totally losing my mind looking for the 60A fuses in the engine compartment, nor can I find mention of them in the wiring diagrams for the 2006 V70.
