I just replaced some rear lamps and now one of the low beams in the front went out. I parked the car and later opened the door with the key...the alarm went off as it does occasionally. But now the instrument cluster is flashing and the needles are jumping. Why?

I thought it was a compressor switch, but the S80 doesn't have one. So far, the electrical problems I've had cost more in diagnostic fees than they are to fix the problem. I'm leaning towards getting another reservoir with cap to see if that's the problem. That was the thought from another knowledge...
