How to I remove the trim that runs along the windshield/roof/rear window?

I’d like to pull it off and repaint. I could just mask the car and paint as-is, but rather pull them off so I can properly prep.

A little background. I was replacing the starter on my S60 and I hadn't disconnected the battery. The ratchet touched something, gave off a small spark, and I had that "oh crap" moment. Disconnected the battery and carried on.

It’s not.

Have you checked to see if the PCV system is functioning properly (rubber glove test)? It could be pushing condensed oil vapor out of that vapor recovery hose between coils 2 and 3.


I haven’t heard about that test. The car is relatively new to me. What’s the test, and what’s the fix if it fails ...

I had the covers off the top of the engine yesterday to change plugs and coils, to cure a misfire in #3 and #5 cylinders. #3 had A LOT of oil in it. I used a syringe to suck most of it out and used air to blow out the rest before I pulled the plug.
