Volvo 240 1990 Auto gearbox 3 speed with overdrive.
What is the best/correct way to check the gearbox level, at the bottom of the dip stick are the usual black plastic high/low readings ,but there is a V shaped nick in the stick furthur up the stick. Help please.

There is a severe water leak on the drivers side only RHD. I have sealed the sun roof, but the leak is still there, any ideas ?
