Engine Subframe Bushing - P3 S60 S80 V70 XC70 replacement - QUESTION?
Has anyone here have experience replacing the Engine Subframe Bushing on a P3 (S60 S80 V70 XC70)? Unfortunately - looks like there is no "inserts available for these bushings (Although for the rear subframe bushings there are Inserts available). So it is a replacement job with OEM parts. https:...

How is the handling affected by a bad Trailing Arm Bushing?
Does anyone has experienced an effect on the way the Volvo P3's (XC70, XC60, etc...) handle when the trailing harm bushing is failing in some ways? I have a handling issue with a 2011 XC70 (66,000 miles) that seem to be coming from the rear of the car. When going over changes in road surfaces the re...

Re: Brake line question
I have been fooled in the past by rust build-up on a 10mm brake bleed nipple. A 11mm wrench fitted perfectly (due to rust build-up) and tatam rounded the hex corners of the bleeder.

As SOURDOUGHJIM said Owner's manual is a good place to start... - and whatever you can't figure out after that... we are to help :-). As there maybe a few things that are good to know that are not in the owners manual, such as the features presented in these videos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o...

That is the first thing I thought : CV Joints.
Since it only happens under load it seem that it must be a powertrain shaft-joint of some kind...

Re: Fog light question
Front Fog Lights are not just for driving in the fog. Generally speaking they are there to give good visibility to the near front +front/sides. This mean they are useful for driving in situations among others like on a Jeep-Road or Off-Road. They help maneuvering through rough surfaces with rocks an...

Re: BG Transmission Fluid
I had never heard of BG. I just Checked their website and there is many reasons not to use their transmission oil in your Volvo. I am going to guess that Amsoil probably has better performance products than BG - Yet you should NOT use Amsoil ATF in your Volvo. There are a few good choices, here are...

Re: XC90 T5 Strange clunk/pop sensation (updates with sound file)
Hi so the quick clicks at the start are me putting the car into gear. Its the very final lower sounding bop knock noise that is the actual noise that the car makes. Thanks! I see... From the recording there is not much I can tell. From your descriptions it points possibly to a deteriorated bushing....
