Check the attaching points. Could be not so much a bend as a stretching/compressing force damage. If there is a lot of gunk there, could be hard to see.

I think it's ( the leak) messing with the fuel air ratio. Also the fuel return line is really loose. There's no clamp. I'll add a clamp. I never have smelled a leak or strong gas smell.
