The check valve prevents pressure from escaping from the intake manifold to the crankcase when you are in boost mode

I used RTV with no leak problems. I only saw this gasket available in Russia.

New solenoids like Rostra need sometimes physical adjustement turning the screw in the solenoid out to decrease pressure.
