Re: 2001 V70 t5 surging +other issues[cheap cl buy]
Also after I fixed a major vacuum at the PTC on the air intake hose it started making this noise that sounds kind of like a deep low boing sound. Not making it now, but thought that could possibly be something indicating an issue. For those who may have played legend of Zelda ocarina of time the noi...

Re: 2001 V70 t5 surging +other issues[cheap cl buy]
A little update: redid PCV(lines and oil catch). Haven't done banjo bolts. Currently the codes are now evap, vvt, and cam position. Oil pressure sensor is leaking, and I'm suspecting that's the vvt code source. Thinking purge valve is my vacuum leak, and may indirectly be creating the poor condition...

Found my leak? Ghetto repair cause parts'll take too long 😂😂
Just wanted to share my diy on my PTC sensor! Looks like shit, but should be well sealed. Waiting for sealer to cure and I'll give an update. (Part of the attempts at fixing surging idle, did PCV aside from banjos that are on their way to find out that the PTC is really a POS)

Re: PTC Elbow Hose missing?
Kinda late, but on my 2001 v70 t5 there is a little vacuum line connects from the oil catch at the end of the breather line. I think it's the same as the one you're mentioning, and my ptc doesn't appear to have an outlet where that little elbow would go in the diagram (but has a spot where it looks ...

Got an update on longevity of this trick? Lots of people online saying the oil would break down the heater hose, but could just be fear mongering I'm not sure.
Also thoughts on 5/8 fuel line instead?

Re: 2001 V70 t5 surging +other issues[cheap cl buy]
I saw on this forum a guy using 5/8" heater hose for one of the pipes (not the one that feeds out above the intake manifold). He was saying as the engine gets higher mileage the stock sizing can cause smoking from dip and clogs more easily I think. Any opinions on this? https://www.matthewsvolv...
