Alright. I looked at the car this evening with some light and there is no hole through the pipe. It's just an unused nipple.

I'm looking at this car and noticed that this port on the inlet tube is open. See center of attached photo. What system is this a part of? Where does it lead to? And if a special hose is needed, what is the part number or common description? I've done some searching, but was unable to find any clear...

Were you able to resolve this? I've got the same issue with a 92 940. The car will sometimes not crank after driving until about 30+ minutes after shutdown. The car will always start fine if you attempt to restart immediately after shutdown though.
