Did you ever get to the bottom of this? Symptoms are the same as mine

Hi everyone. New to the forum so if this sort of post isn’t allowed then I apologies.

I’m looking to buy a (genuine) spoiler for my 2004 pre facelift v70 if anyone has one available. Preferably in gold as it would save me some time but any colour is fine.
