Replaced the manual shifter bushings with a 3d printed nylon set. To remove the gear knob, videos and forums will tell you to pull on it or hit it with a hammer. I managed to remove it cleanly by prying up the clips that hold it to the shaft. Would recommend this to anyone looking to do this.

Put the winter tires on for the season. While i had the wheel off, I replaced the gearbox oil as I had bought some oil a few months prior from Volvo. Filled it using a funnel and some plastic hose. The M56 took exactly 2L. Shifts as good as ever :D.
