Re: what about ignoring p0135 (2000 v70 132k)

Just wanted to circle back and say I bought the Denso sensor from amazon.com ($149) for the 2000 V70 NA and installed last night. I drove it about 15-20 miles after clearing the P0135 code and it did not return. It was previously re-setting after just driving a mile or two. Thanks to everyone for th...

Re: what about ignoring p0135 (2000 v70 132k)

These newer Densos use the black wires as the heater circuit and there are 4 in total, the other two being blue and white. Thanks. I will finally get a chance to measure the resistance on the heater circuit this weekend. BTW (just curious) your information says you are from Melbourne......is that F...

Re: what about ignoring p0135 (2000 v70 132k)

Is the heater circuit the two black wires as you guys stated already or is it the two white wires per this youtube video? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4eBefRoZRFY Seems like it would be an important distinction. I've been looking at pictures of the Denso on the web and so far all I can see is one ...

Re: Who has replaced O2 Sensor after getting PO135?

I have about 130K miles on the V70 with the P0135. I don't know if it has the vacuum tube elbow hiding on the passenger side of the engine. I have had a vacuum leak before in this car when a hose cracked but it caused different codes.

Re: Who has replaced O2 Sensor after getting PO135?

Thanks for your reply, precopster. Just trying to make myself feel better about risking the pricey part. I will also check the resistance on the leads as you suggested elsewhere.

Who has replaced O2 Sensor after getting PO135?

When you got PO135 and replaced the O2 Sensor how often did it FIX versus NOT FIX the problem and get rid of the code?

Thanks!

Re: what about ignoring p0135 (2000 v70 132k)

Apparently, the 2000 NA engine (as mine is) requires the Denso part if my reading is correct. The least expensive I found was FCP for $248 (eeuroparts only offers Bosch). If anyone knows a better source and price for the Denso part, please let me know.

Thanks.
