I was changing the oil on the V70 when I noticed a cable connection hanging down underneath the car, near the driver side front wheel. Does anyone know what that connection is for?
Is it a good idea to tie it up somewhere, or just let it hanging?

Looks like my B234F has an auto timing belt tensioner. Brickboard states that the tensioner is hydraulic. Does it make use of engine oil pressure, or is it a self-contained sealed unit? Brickboard says that the tensioner might leak and ruin the belts. That had me worried a bit. I wonder if there are...

According to Brickboard, the ECT sensor is somewhere near cylinder 3, which is quite far back, close to the firewall I have a pix here, there's a sensor with white connection on it, the sensor is on the left of coolant temp gauge sensor. Don't know the colors of wires in it...
