Re: ABS module wet

That module is done, there's no saving it. I get about one or two a year that are filled with fluid. Sometimes it's water, sometimes it's brake fluid. I have no idea how it gets into the large socket and finds its way inside since I never see the cars they come from. I've only seen it with 96-98 mod...

Re: ATP-205 works!

My 1999 Honda 400ex has been burning oil. Checked the compression today and it's at spec so it's the valve seals as I suspected. I'm really not in the mood to pull the head and replace them this year So I'm going to buy another bottle and see what happens. I'll probably only put ten hours on it this...

Re: I just created an MVS Facebook Group

Please dont abandon the forum! I dont have Facebook and I'll never use it again. I agree. I really don't like what Facebook groups have done to forums in general and the stupidity on Facebook groups is absolutely amazing. I'm not talking about just any group, I'm talking about all of them and I'm n...

That's why I buy them in bulk from Lisle. Over 500 lost since 2009.

Re: ABS light random and idle question

He has a 95, it's a different abs system. It doesn't have the failure issues like the 96 and up.

Re: 96 850 turbo sedan - ABS and TRACS stay lit Topic is solved

Well, I can't help Dave if he doesn't get ahold of me. I really hate splitting communication on two different platforms as it creates a mess. Rule of thumb.... If one day the abs lights suddenly come on and stay on to never go off again thats usually something outside of the module. With the age of ...

Re: ABS-0011 ABS-0012 new sensor, tone ring and box - no fix Topic is solved

You're only going to have three variables with any issue on the front. Any issues within the pump assembly aren't going to do what you're experiencing, that's all mechanical and not electronic. 1-tone ring 2-sensor/sensor wire 3-loose or missing axle bolt. back at the harness I suppose you could hav...

Re: ABS-0011 ABS-0012 new sensor, tone ring and box - no fix Topic is solved

Something is up with those OHM readings but I wouldn't concentrate on those at all. LF always pops up with a faulty module, you'll get a faulty signal then signal missing codes, 0010 and 0011. You will never get a 0012 with a faulty module and the only time I have seen that code is with an aftermark...
