Re: Life with my '06 S60
Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining about having to do repairs......that is just a fact that when you own a car eventually things break and need to be replaced. But to have something work under certain conditions and not work under other conditions is not a sign of quality. And to make it so you...

Life with my '06 S60
So I purchased my S60 2.5T used just a little over a year and a half ago. It was a former fleet vehicle. When I got the car, I knew that the brake pads were low and would soon need replacement, as well as the rotors as it looked like the rotors were resurfaced once before. In December, one of my hea...

Re: 2006 S60 Fuel Gauge Stops Working
Called a local Volvo mechanic (as luck would have it, his shop deals solely with Volvos and it is less than 5 miles from my house) and he suggested that I go to the dealer and bitch and scream in the hopes that they might give me a break on the repair. He quoted me a price of $400 just for the part...

Re: 2006 S60 Fuel Gauge Stops Working
Thanks for the info. Yeah, the low fuel light doesn't come on. The weird thing, like I said, is that once the fuel level falls below 1/4 tank, the gauge starts working properly again. When this first started happening about 3 months ago, the fuel gauge worked except for between 1/2 tank and 3/4 tank...

2006 S60 2.5T - Need to replace front fog lamp
So driving home tonight, a HUGE raccoon ran in front of my car to commit suicide. The irresistable force of a car doing 50 mph won over a 10-15 lb animal. However, the collision smashed the driver's side fog lamp and ripped out the entire assembly that the bulb plugs into and is screwed onto the fog...

2006 S60 Fuel Gauge Stops Working
When I start the car up, the fuel gauge in the dash registers the fuel level, however after driving for about 5-10 minutes, the fuel level on the gauge will drop down to empty (the low fuel light doesn't come on). If the fuel level in the tank drops below 1/4 tank, then the fuel gauge shows the prop...

Re: How to access bulb - driver side front side marker light
Thanks. This will be a huge help. I can also confirm that the front side marker light and the license plate light does not trigger the position light failure message. When I started the car up this morning, instead of the message coming up, it was rapidly flashing in the message window. So I pulled ...

Re: How to access bulb - driver side front side marker light
Thanks. I guess that will be my little project this weekend. VADIS? What's that? Is that illustrated instructions on how to accomplish this?
